Colin Kaepernick, a professional football player, is no stranger to charity giving.

Recently, he made a commitment to donate over $1 million dollars to help organizations that help communities which are considered to be oppressed.  Some of the charities he supports include Home2Heart, which assist single mothers in Atlanta in acquiring home furnishings, and New York’s Coalition for the Homeless.
