Herschel Walker

Herschel Walker, a professional football player, was a great star in college. He won a Heisman Trophy and a national title with the Georgia Bulldogs, where he amassed 5,259 rushing yards and set 41 school records in three seasons. He left Athens early and spurned the NFL to become one of the biggest stars in the USFL in 1983. 

Herschel Walker has worked with numerous charitable and educational organizations. Since retiring from the NFL more than 20 years ago, Walker has built three massive companies, which include a chicken plant, a drapery business, and a promotions company that currently employs more than 800 people in the South.
